Rough Few Days At The Walker House

We've had an interesting few days. I fell off one of our front porch steps on Wednesday afternoon and managed to really hurt my left foot. Luckily Nash seems to be ok. I couldn't walk at all Wednesday night without help. It wasn't much better on Thursday. Also, Ryder woke up Thursday morning with a low grade fever which got progressively worse by Thursday afternoon. We took him to the Pediatrician that afternoon, where we were told he had no real symptoms of anything so it must be a viral. Unfortunately, he woke up Friday morning with a temp of 103.2 and DID NOT feel good at all. So, between me not being able to walk and Ryder being sick we spent the majority of Friday in bed. Which was actually kind of fun. We snuggled and watched cartoons, read books, and played with puzzles. Thank goodness we had Travis, he was such a big help. Since Ryder now weighs 25 pounds we have graduated from infant tylenol to Children's. We rotated that with some Motrin every 3 to 4 hours and it seemed to work. Good news, we both woke up this morning much better! I'm getting around a lot better and Ryder seems to be back to his old self. He scarfed down his breakfast in nothing flat and is running around playing. So, all is well again at the Walker household. :)
