Well, we've made it through the first year! It went by so fast! Ryder had such a great time at his birthday party! We could not have asked for a better day, the weather was beautiful! We had such a great turn out at the party...it was so much fun! And, I think we have finally conquered the last round of teeth. He now has 6 teeth....2 on the bottom and 4 on top. And, is feeling so much better! He's back to talking non-stop, smiling and laughing a lot more! We are not a fan of the teething process!!!! It must be so painful for him. He gets so cranky, doesn't really talk much and just doesn't act like himself. So we are definitely glad to have the old Ryder back...at least till the next round of teeth decide to come in! Hopefully they will wait for a little while! :)
We've been playing with a few of his new toys and having a ball!!!! He got a very cool remote control Hummer that I'm having to keep Travis from opening. I think he wants to play with it more than Ryder. Hee hee! We are going in for his 12 month check up on Wednesday at 2:30, so I will of course post a run down of that visit when we get home!
