- Here are just a few new developments we've noticed since he's turned one!
Taking steps alone. He's still pretty unsteady, but he is still trying. - Mastered climbing. He can climb up and down stairs with no problem. He also knows how to push big toys up against our ottoman and climb on top of them so he can climb on top of the ottoman. As you can see in this picture. He pushed that toy over to the ottoman for the
sole purpose of climbing on top of it.
- His babbling is containing a lot more consonants. So I know he's definitely trying to say something. He looks at us and just babbles away. Sometimes it's like he's telling a joke, because he will laugh afterwards.
- His "playing" skills are really developing. He's very good at figuring out what all his toys do. And, if we show him where to put a ball or a block, he instantly tries to do it himself. He got a few ride on toys for his birthday, and he knows how to climb on them. He only has one where his little feet actually hit the floor, and he can push himself on it. We push him in the others. He also loves to climb inside his big red car by himself and closes the door behind him. Then he just sits there and waits for one of us to come push him. :)
- He can point to my nose.. I tell him to "point to mommy's nose" and he will. :)
- He waves
- I've noticed him throwing and waving with his right hand...don't know if that means he will be right handed or not
- He's become very whiny when he's not happy or getting what he wants. It's a very dramatic, fake whine. Travis and I are trying our best to ignore it...sometimes it's very hard
- He's decided he does not need green veggies in his diet. The child refuses to eat anything green. I've tried everything. So, if anyone has any advice...please let me know!
He's ALL boy!!!! Into EVERYTHING and constantly on the move!
