Ryder's new developments...
He's still crawling around and getting faster every day, and pulling up on EVERYTHING! Every now and then he feels brave and lets go and will stand for about a second or two on his own. He's "baby babbling" like crazy! Lots of oh's, ba's, ka's, uh's, and some stuff I can't even begin to guess how to spell. :) And, he recently started just screaming in a high pitch squeal for no reason. When I look at him, he starts laughing. It's pretty cute! We are slowly making progress with the table food. It's going to be a slow transition from baby food. He's VERY picky about what he puts in his mouth (only when it comes to food). He'll put any and every object he get his hands on in his mouth, but very hesitant about veggies. :) As of today he's eating cheerios, gerber puff's and yogurt melts, teddy bear cereal I found at Central Market, carrots (a little), chicken (a little), blueberries (a little) and regular yogurt, oh and he's a BIG fan of chocolate ice cream and Sprinkles cup cakes. :) So, we will continue introducing new foods. He was slow to get used to baby food, so I'm not that surprised he's been hesitant about the table food. He also LOVES to give high fives and the song Twinkle Twinkle Little Star...oh and, watching sports center with his dad. :) He's been sleeping really good lately. Usually asleep by 7:45 or 8:00pm and up by 8:00am. He rarely wakes up in the middle of the night anymore. When he does, it's usually for a very brief period of time and then he goes right back to sleep. His two top teeth are pushing through. I can feel one of them, it's barely broken through the gum. I know he's ready for those teeth to come in. He's had some cranky moments, mostly when he's eating. I'm pretty sure it's because those top teeth are hurting him pretty bad! :( But, most of the time he's such a happy go lucky baby! We couldn't be luckier! He's so much fun right now, and we are just enjoying every second!
